I was forward about 200 meters beyond where Doc Nun was hit. Somebody yelled pull back we got fast movers coming. I didn`t know what a fast mover was and I had a hard time getting that far. When the fast mover got there I realized I should have pulled back. He made his first run and and I retreated back to where Doc Nowlin and Freddie Mac was working on Coats, Doc Nun had died. Another 1 st plt guy had lost it and was screaming don`t go they will kill you. Believe me I didn`t want to go, but I was afraid PFC Jack would kick my ass. He was the reason I was there in the first place. I personally think PFC Jacks` initial action and dissreguard of enemy fire superiority saved a lot of Charlie Company that day, Peace, Cotton.
