Yeah, it`s been a rough year already. Marla`s sister had to evacuate for a few days in July, they live in Idyllwild and had a big fire (everything turned out ok for them). This Yosemite fire is a little west of the well known places but it burned a bunch of places I`ve hiked through. So dry these last two years & only about 60% of normal snow in the Sierras. Fire season started real early this year. I`m actually going up tomorrow for my end of summer trip, I`m just hoping the smoke is blowing north. See you in a few.
