We have created a C Co Reunion Committee to assist with future reunions. The Reunion Committee will provide volunteers who host these events with support in the areas of planning, administration and logistics. It is not going to replace the successful volunteer concept that has worked so well for us over the past 10 years and we think that having the RC will encourage others to take on the challenge of hosting a C Co reunion.
Our active group`s geographic breakdown is roughly 50% eastern US, 30% western US and 20% middle US. Geographic representation is important to help ensure we attract as many people as possible, as often as possible. The current RC members are: Butch Zarr-CA; Terry & Bridget Kuhlenbeck-WI and Mac MacFarland--PA. As I`m sure you all know, Terry & Bridget ran the 2011 Milwaukee reunion while Butch and Mac have assisted with the planning for a number of these events over the years.
Each individual or team will serve a two year term and terms will be staggered to ensure there are always experienced members on the RC. We`ll elect new members at our upcoming reunions. We`ll also set some time aside at each reunion, starting with the 2014 event, to discuss past, present and future RC plans, actions and issues. If we need to fine tune the process, we`ll do that at future reunions too.
