Could have been, Gilland and Grist were a pair, somewhere between 2nd and 3rd plt but not belonging to either. Gilliand was one in 3rd but we ended up with an extra Pric-25 some how he ended up as Peter Rabbits RTO. We gave him the call sign of Peter Rabbit and the name stuck.He wasn`t very pleased with his new nick name and call sign. I think maybe he and Gilliand was on a 2 man patrol. Pretty sure they were close to our NDP when it happened. Any way the Duster was close to our perimeter. I caught up with the both of them in Japan at the 249 th Gen Hosp. They were still together and were adjoining beds on the same ward. They couldn`t believe we took so many cas on the 21. A bunch of us end up there Butch, Frojen, Rameriz, a lot of guys from B, D, E Co`s and Valentine Zapert. In fact he was in the bed beside me, now you know the rest of the story, Peace, Cotton.
