I had one of those experiences 23 years ago. I was hunting with Freddie Mac in SC and fell from a tree stand on Dec 18th. I was 28 ft up a tall pine. Couldn`t get to my rifle to fire a distress round or two. I couldn`t make a sound but after 3 hrs Freddie found me and hauled me out on a four wheeler. I had a double fractured pelvis, 12 broken ribs, fractured sturnum, brused hart and spleen. A week later I had a pulminary imbilis ( blood clot in the lung ). I was in the hospital for 5 weeks. Molly wasn`t real happy with me. I wasn`t too happy either. Dr said I used up three or four of my nine lives. I`m just proud to be here and glad you are also.
