Most everyone knows by now,the VA has started a new investigation of claims, supposudly random. They are looking for differences in claims that should universal accross the country for standrads at rating claims. Apparently this has turned into a witch hunt of sorts, because what they are finding so far is paperwork errrors.Also the fact they are not re-examining the claims turned down makes it prejudicail and not fair to vets already rated. A law was made up sent up to congress and approved by either congress or the senate and is awaiting approval at the other house(whichever) to be approved.This law is aimed at stopping the investigation. A lot of flak is coming from it all. It was reported in the stars and stripes some of the heat and protests this all is doing to vets. The story goes that a vet who after a long battle with the V finnally got his 100% rating when the news of his file being chosen came in the mail.They found him shot dead in bed(suicide) clutching the papers of his case being re-examined. Sad, story guys.Please talk to somebody before it goes that far.Most all the guys here on this site and that includes myself, will stop to talk to any vet who thinks he`s in trouble or can`t take it anymore.WE are all in this together as blood brothers and living history.We are diminshed a lot ever time we lose one of us. doc
