    Dave and others,

    Geronimo, 1/501 is on alert for Iraq. I am in touch with one of the guys in the medic platoon at Fort Richardson.

    Others may now know the 1/501 is at Fort Richardson, Alaska and no longer subordiant to the 101st.

    Geronimo deployed to Afghanistan and thankfully suffered no medic casualties.
