we got a new medic in our combat medics ptsd group today.He did several tours in iraq.he was interested in our stories and was very interesting to find out how much has changed since we were out as well.we are hoping he will stay with us to talk a while about medic stuff.we talked about anger issues, sadness, flashbacks, nitemares and such.he says he has turned toward the church to try to get help then came to us at the VA.he said he has the same trouble relating to civilians we have had and only feels safe around other vets. sound familiar? doc out.
